PRIMARY LEVEL PROGRAMME

The Primary level consists of 5 years. The program is implemented in two languages sections, one with an English and another with a Slovene language of instruction.
The first foreign language is taught from the P1 onwards. The students can select between English, German and French and Slovene is an additional subject.

ABOUT THE PROGRAMME
Rules of assessment
Throughout the primary level, the students’ progress is assessed by using various formative assessment tools. The progress is evaluated with descriptive marks and children keep a record of their own progress in their portfolio. The European School Ljubljana uses the same assessment tools as other European schools.

Enrolment
In the 2024/2025 school year, we will have students enrolled in all of the primary years of the English and Slovene language section. Enrolling your child during the school year is still possible and currently enrolment openings are still available in all of our primary years. The yearly school fee for the Primary Programme is 5,069 EUR per child.
