A Visit to the European School of Helsinki

On Friday, May 23, teacher Ana Rubhof and Assistant Headteacher for Nursery and Primary Katarina Paternost visited the European School of Helsinki, where they received a warm and friendly welcome. The school, which boasts the Eco-School title, has about 300 pupils and three language sections (Finnish, English, and French) and is located in a beautiful neoclassical building in the heart of green Helsinki. They first visited the kindergarten, then the primary and secondary levels, had hospitality lessons in various subjects, watched the "Welcome Spring" event, and talked to the teachers and the school management about the experiences we share in the European Schools. In the coming week, they will take part in an Erasmus teacher training program on the ecosocial approach in education.
