The day began when I woke up at 7:20 a.m. to catch the school bus at 7:45. Upon arriving at the Big Bang School, I joined my host child in their classroom.
The Erasmus opening ceremony marked the official start of the day, and I joined the Erasmus group shortly after. Greek students then led us on a tour of the school, which was a great way to explore the campus. Following the tour, we attended presentations about Slovenia, Italy, Greece, and Wales.
Lunch was next, and I enjoyed a salad made of cucumbers and tomatoes, followed by pastitsio—a delicious dish similar to lasagne, but with pasta inside.
In the afternoon, we split into three groups for creative activities: drawing, music, and writing. I joined the writing group. We started by describing a typical day in our lives and then played a game where we wrote two truths and two lies. The highlight of this activity was presenting our statements and trying to guess each other's truths and lies—it was a lot of fun!
The day concluded with a ride back on the school bus and a relaxing evening at my host family's home.
