Erasmus HAPI Project Activities 2024/25

Our Erasmus project for the 2024/25 school year is focused on the Principles of Harmony—Health, Adaptation, and Diversity. Through a variety of engaging activities, students and teachers will promote sustainability, foster creativity, and strengthen community connections.

ESLJ School Activities

  • How Healthy Is Our World? Students will explore local recycling systems and develop strategies to reduce waste.
  • Outdoor Learning: Lessons will take place in natural settings, with students creating a map highlighting outdoor learning spots.
  • FIDS for Kids: Adopting the "I CAN" mindset—Feel, Imagine, Do, and Share—students will design and implement positive changes at school, in their communities, and at home.
  • Zero Waste Food Day: A student-led initiative focused on reducing food waste and promoting sustainable eating habits.
  • Home Snack Project: Students will create a recipe book featuring healthy packed lunch ideas.
  • Bee Wild Project: This initiative encourages students and the community to actively contribute to environmental conservation and biodiversity.
  • Exploring Fibonacci Patterns: Students will investigate Fibonacci patterns in nature and art, sharing their discoveries with project partners.
  • Healthy Food Day: A day dedicated to promoting plant-based diets, encouraging healthy eating habits, and raising awareness about the benefits of vegetarian options.
  • Mindfulness and Diversity Workshops: Students will participate in workshops that promote mindfulness, inclusivity, and emotional well-being.

Erasmus Mobilities

We have organised several Erasmus mobilities in collaboration with our project partners from Italy, Greece, and Wales:

  • Group Meeting in Thessaloniki, Greece (Nov 2024): Students will collaborate, share experiences, and deepen their understanding of the project's themes.
  • Job Shadowing in Smederevska Palanka, Serbia (Dec 2024): Teachers will engage in job shadowing to exchange ideas, observe best practices, and enhance their professional skills.
  • Teacher Training Courses in Florence and Dublin (Sept 2024, Feb 2025): These courses will empower teachers to enhance their teaching strategies, which they will share with colleagues and integrate into their classroom practices.

We invite parents and community members to join and support our activities, helping to create a stronger, more connected community. Together, we aim to foster responsibility, creativity, and a commitment to sustainability and inclusivity in our students, while enriching the learning experience for everyone.
