On Friday, April 26th, a group of our students participated in the French musical event Fête de la musique, traditionally organized by Druga Gimnazija Maribor. This year's theme was musicals, and our students performed with the song Assassymphonie from Mozart's Opera Rock.

We went to Maribor by train, and at the train station we were welcomed by the main organizer of the event, Mary Ellen Ramasimanana, and three of her students, who kindly took us around the city center of Maribor and showed us around school. We then headed towards a nearby restaurant, after which it was time for rehearsals.

In between rehearsals and the event itself, we managed to sneak out for an ice cream, stop at a playground, and watch the opening of the exhibition about the Paris Olympic Games in the hall of the school.



And finally, it was show time! 😊 

Our students did an amazing job singing and dancing and also enjoyed seeing other students perform. Thank you, Druga Gimnazija Maribor, for inviting us. It was a real pleasure to be able to participate, and we hope to come again next year!
