Ask any child about their favourite activity, and chances are they’ll say, “Playing.” That’s why ESLJ celebrated World Children’s Day with an Open Classroom Play Day! Students brought their favourite toys and explored the theme of inclusion through play. The hallways and classrooms were filled with laughter, joy, and connection.
In a diverse school community like ours at the European School Ljubljana, inclusion is vital for fostering understanding, respect, and a sense of belonging among all students.
As part of the celebration, students also unveiled the ESLJ Rock Garden—a project they created by painting rocks to symbolise diversity and inclusion within our school community.
It was an unforgettable day, brimming with creativity, play, and unity!
